Indeed, it seems to me that the more Christian a country is, the less likely it is to regard the death penalty as immoral.
Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia: First Things May, 2002
Wow….
“The Catholic Church in Rome made the extraordinary admission yesterday that it is aware priests from at least 23 countries have been sexually abusing nuns.”
…
“In extreme instances, the priests had made nuns pregnant and then encouraged them to have abortions.”
“The Vatican reports cited countless cases of nuns forced to have sex with priests. Some were obliged to take the pill, others became pregnant and were encouraged to have abortions. In one case in which an African sister was forced to have an abortion, she died during the operation and her aggressor led the funeral mass. Another case involved 29 sisters from the same congregation who all became pregnant to priests in the diocese.”
My emphasis added, because I think that what makes me entirely raged out of all the rage you could put into it: My abortion is the only moral abortion. I am the exception. Why wasn’t I consulted about your pregnancy? Under every known edict that I know of the Catholic church, they should be excommunicated or at least stripped of the priesthood.

CONCORD, N.C. — A Concord man gave bomb-making advice to someone he thought was planning to bomb a women’s health clinic, U.S. Attorney John Stone Jr. said.Justin Moose, 26, was arrested Tuesday and is charged with providing information related to the making, use or manufacture of an explosive, destructive device or weapon of mass destruction.A criminal complaint alleges that Moose used Facebook to advocate violence against women’s health clinics, specifically ones where abortions are performed, and employees at those clinics. Moose claimed to be a member of a group called the “Army of God,” federal agents said in a 19-page affidavit, and made multiple threatening remarks aimed clinic employees.PDF: Affidavit In Criminal Complaint For MooseAccording to the affidavit, the remarks included one saying, “Save a life. Shoot an abortionist.”Other remarks listed in the affidavit appear to encourage others to violence. “Keep your phone and rifle close and wait,” one said.Moose met with an undercover agent last week, officials said, and gave detailed information about various explosives that could be used to destroy a North Carolina abortion clinic. The agent said Moose called himself the “Christian counterpart of Osama bin Laden.”The FBI investigated the case. This is deeply shocking: Israeli rabbis defend book urging the murder of non-Jews.
According to the book’s author, Rabbi Yitzhak Shapira, “Non-Jews are “uncompassionate by nature” and should be killed in order to “curb their evil inclinations.” “If we kill a gentile who has inner or has violated one of the seven commandments… there is nothing wrong with the murder,” Shapira insisted.
Citing Jewish law as his source (or at least a very selective interpretation of it) he declared: “There is justification for killing babies if it is clear that they will grow up to harm us, and in such a situation they may be harmed deliberately, and not only during combat with adults.”
N.B. The Author is Jewish himself. His aim is to expose this extremist side of his religion.
Yitzhak Shapira is comparable to his muslim counterparts. It’s too bad that people say terrible stuff like this in the name of a beautiful religion like Judaism or like Islam. But this is significant because the West needs to realize that extremists like this exist in all faiths and not just Islam which is given the worst name, and that these views are not representative of the religions’ beliefs.
Losing my religion for equality
Jimmy Carter officially goes apostate over the Baptist Church’s treatment of women.
Barak Obama, THIS is how it’s done.
